Nokia is one of the smaller PDA companies around, mostly because they are known for their phones and not for their other devices. However, now that they have begun releasing PDAs, there are several out on the market. Nokia’s PDAs tend to be very specific to what they are best suited to, such as professional tasks or entertainment purposes. There are tons of accessories and programs out there, and as Nokia undergoes some changes with their systems, more and more will become available in the near future.
Despite the fact that Nokia is fairly new to the market, there are already tons of accessories available for the Nokia PDA. Nokia handheld products, the PDA can sometimes be found for free online with a little bit of searching. One of these accessories is the Nokia PDA GPS accessory. Nokia PDA GPS allows you to see your location no matter where you are. Along with GPS you can find PDA cases, programs and other things to build your PDA with. One of the most important parts of your handheld is the operating system. The Nokia PDA OS was developed by Symbian. While Nokia has been using Symbian for all of its previous releases, there are some rumors that say Nokia may be switching to a Linux OS in the near future, or using both Symbian and Linux systems for their newer releases. Linux is a better known operating system and has a much larger reputation than Symbian, so the switch may be the one thing that brings Nokia’s PDAs to the front of the market. However, at the moment they are still a ways behind the main competition and it may take some time for them to catch up. While Nokia does carry reputable cell phones, their PDAs are not yet up with the rest of the market. The good news is that Nokia’s PDAs are generally less costly than major manufacturers, and there are still just as many options available on these as there are for the larger systems. Plus, Nokia is undergoing a system change that will give you even more flexibility in creating your PDA. Nokia products are very durable and useful for getting yourself organized, though they probably aren’t the best way to run a business. It may be better to find a more well known PDA company for things like that. However, Nokia is still good for basic functions.
