There is a new revolution in communication going on – it is called a PDA. The PDA has brought out the perfect marriage between computers and mobile telephones making the use of the separate components almost obsolete and redundant.
The Hitachi PDAs are among the best models available in the market today. There are many features, which make Hitachi one of the favorites in the world. Some of their best features (Particularly that of the G1000) are:
- One of the largest color LDC display monitors that boasts of about 65,500 different colors.
- Obviously the size of the display is also huge, i.e. 240 X 320 pixels which is excellent for people who have difficulty reading things off a small screen.
- This Hitachi PDA battery, which offers a good 2.5 hours talk time and a whopping 168 hours of standby time, is a 1500 mAhLi-Ion make.
- Its keyboard is large and comfortable to work on with a QWERTY system, which makes it excellent for typing those urgent memos and emails when you are on the move.
- Of course, it has a camera, which takes good pictures (though not exactly crystal clear) both in high and low resolutions. The camera can be turned in any direction making it extremely easy and fun to take photos from all angles possible.
- There is excellent Hitachi PDA ballistic software, which complements the Multimedia card (MMC) and the Secure Digital Cards (SD).
- The memory allows plenty of Hitachi PDA games that would help you pass and enjoy your leisure time immensely.
- The Hitachi PDA programs download free and directly from the Internet and hence, there is no problem in keeping the PDA update with the latest development in the software is it using.
- The Hitachi offers simple and direct wireless connection to the Internet; it also allows for high speed data transfer making it a cinch to download any material whenever needed.
- The Hitachi PDA phone has a very effective hand-free speaker, which allows the caller to hear without the usual hollow sound in between.
The Few Disadvantages Of The Hitachi PDA [G 1000] Are:
- There is no backlight for the keyboard which sometimes makes it difficult to type/phone if the lighting environment is not conducive.
- The memory would have been better if the RAM would have been 64 MB instead of 32 MB, though it allows for extra memory cards, which most users opt for.
- The stylus is not exactly of the expected quality; it could have been better.
The size is huge comparing to the other PDAs in the market, though the large display kind of makes up for it
Despite the few things against them, Hitachi PDAs are still among the best.
