Whether you like it or not, you have to admit that the Casio PDA has quite a bit going for it. Casio actually offers several different PDAs, but they are all very similar when it comes to their features, and their features are all pretty spectacular. Casio admittedly had to relatively poor releases of PDAs in the past, but they have finally made a hit with their newer models using the newest operating systems on the market.

The Palm III Series
One of the older Casios on the market is the Casio IIIXE PDA. Despite the fact that Casio has a bit of a dark history, the IIIXE is still a pretty impressive little device. It is fairly basic in that it does not have a colored screen, and the operating system is a bit older. These particular models have been discontinued for several years, but they can still be found online for very low prices.

The Newer Models
Since the discontinuation of the older models, Casio has since expanded its fleet to include better PDAs that are more competitive with the current market. With the new models came new free Casio PDA software to be downloaded onto the new operating systems. Regardless of what you are using the PDA for, there is a lot of potential to make your Casio PDA as useful as a regular desktop computer. All it takes is a little bit of time and research to find which programs will be the most useful to you when you are away from the office, or needing some sort of entertainment.

Features
Casio offers tons of features that may or may not be available on other brands of PDAs. Primarily the Casio PDA date book is one of the best organizers available for a PDA because it is simple and straight forward. Casio also has a PDA book that is very easy to work with. Along with these features, Casio is also one of the few PDA manufacturers to work with MP3s and camera attachments.

Casio is definitely one of the higher end PDAs on the market, but the can also be commended on their simplicity. They are not difficult to work with and adding on to them does not require a lot of work as it does with some of the other PDAs.
