Getting back to the design of the 8100c Blackberry PDA phone, it high resembles an actual phone with its sleekness. The challenge was fitting a keyboard on it! Like with other keyboards on a Blackberry, each button represents several letters so you depend on SureType software that comes with the phone to plug in the right words you are searching for. This Blackberry 8100c has a large screen so that you can better see your emails, web content and any attachments or instant messages. Instead of the thumbwheel as your navigation guide, you now have a four way trackball located underneath the screen. On the back of this 8100c Blackberry pearl, you will find a built-in camera with 1.3 megapixel capability. You also have slots for a memory card, mini-USB port for connectivity and even a headset jack for your Bluetooth. When it comes to the Blackberry 8100c PDA battery, you can expect a decent talk time of almost four hours and at least ten days or more for standby time. You may even be able to find Blackberry PDA 8100c compatible aluminum cases to protect your precious Pearl. While you won’t find this Blackberry 8100c PDA phone cheap because of its current popularity, you just may find a discount Blackberry 8100c PDA when you sign a service contract for it. The quality of the calling is great too. You have a speakerphone built-in or you can use your wireless headset. There are over thirty different ring tones so that you can assign one to each person on your contact list if you wanted to. As with other Blackberries, the 8100c can be set up with up to ten email accounts. You can open word, excel, pdf, powerpoint and even word perfect files. Of course, if you wish to edit them, you will have to purchase additional software for that purpose. All in all, you will enjoy the different aspects of the Blackberry 8100c Pearl.
